Will Coppage is a Mississippi-born singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and MFA-trained author who blends raw lyricism with cinematic grit. Delta-born and indie-forged, Coppage’s music is both rooted in the dust of the Delta and reaching forward into modern songwriting. Known for his propulsive flatpicking, energetic live performances, and a poet’s attention to detail, Coppage’s sound sits at the crossroads of folk, funk, and indie grit.  

After a year of extensive national and international touring with Stud Ford — grandson of the late blues legend T-Model Ford — Coppage has stepped forward with a solo project that emphasizes storytelling and sonic range. Fresh off the acclaimed Ain’t No Love EP (2025), he is carving a new space for indie-rooted Americana that delivers emotionally honest, genre-defying music carved from Mississippi clay and wired with modern fire. His performances carry the weight of lived experience, the energy of restless rhythms, and a swagger rooted in Delta grit but aimed at the future.

As a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran and MFA-trained writer, Coppage brings both discipline and artistry to his craft, channeling lived experience into songs that resonate with grit and honesty.  From Delta juke joints to European festival stages, Coppage has proven his ability to connect with audiences.
